How it works

Cagrilintide is a synthetic analog of the pancreatic hormone amylin, which slows gastric emptying and promotes satiety. It complements GLP-1 agonist mechanisms with non-overlapping pathways.

Protocol notes

Trial dosing typically titrates from 0.16 mg weekly up to 2.4 mg weekly over several months. Often combined 1:1 with semaglutide.
