HealingSingle
Also known as: Copper Peptide GHK-Cu, Glycyl-L-Histidyl-L-Lysine Copper

A naturally occurring tripeptide–copper complex studied for skin remodeling, hair growth, and wound healing. Levels in human plasma decline with age.

How it works

GHK-Cu binds copper ions and shuttles them into cells, where the complex influences gene expression linked to collagen and elastin synthesis, antioxidant defense, and tissue remodeling. It also stimulates dermal fibroblast activity and supports hair-follicle stem-cell viability.

Protocol notes

Subcutaneous protocols typically use 1–2 mg daily for systemic regenerative effects. Topical formulations (1–3 mg/mL) are widely used for skin and scalp applications. Cycles of 6–12 weeks are common.

Reported side effects

Topical use is typically well-tolerated; possible mild irritation. Injectable use rarely causes nausea or low blood pressure.
