Glutathione
LongevitySingleAlso known as: GSH, Reduced Glutathione

Half-life
0.2 h
Common dose
200 – 2000 mg
Dosing frequency
Every Other Day
Administration
Subcutaneous, Intramuscular
How it works
Glutathione neutralizes reactive oxygen species, recycles other antioxidants (vitamins C and E), and supports phase-II liver detoxification reactions.
Protocol notes
IV protocols use 600–2000 mg per infusion 1–2 times weekly. Subcutaneous use is also common at 200–600 mg several times weekly. Oral bioavailability is poor; liposomal or sublingual forms are preferred for non-injectable use.
Reported side effects
Generally well-tolerated. Possible mild GI effects (oral), injection-site reactions.
