How it works

Ipamorelin binds the ghrelin (GHS-R1a) receptor on pituitary somatotrophs, triggering pulsatile GH release. Unlike older GHRPs, it has minimal effect on cortisol, prolactin, or appetite.

Protocol notes

Most protocols dose 100–300 mcg subcutaneously 1–3 times daily — often before bed and post-workout. Cycles of 8–16 weeks. Almost always paired with a GHRH analog (CJC-1295 No DAC) for synergistic release.

Reported side effects

Generally well-tolerated. Possible head rush, mild hunger spike (less than GHRP-2/6), and injection-site reactions.

Additional research notes

GHRP. Often combined with CJC-1295. Typical dose 100–300mcg.
