How it works
LL-37 disrupts microbial membranes and binds bacterial endotoxin (LPS). It also modulates innate immunity, promotes wound re-epithelialization, recruits immune cells, and shows activity against bacteria, viruses, and biofilms.
Protocol notes
Subcutaneous protocols typically use 100–500 mcg daily for short courses (2–4 weeks) targeting chronic infection, biofilm, or wound-healing applications. Cycle off 4 weeks before repeating.
Reported side effects
Possible flu-like symptoms, fatigue during initial doses (sometimes attributed to immune activity), and injection-site reactions.
