How it works
SNAP-8 mimics part of the SNAP-25 protein involved in vesicular neurotransmitter release, blocking the formation of the SNARE complex similarly to botulinum toxin (much milder effect). Primarily used topically.
Protocol notes
Cosmetic topical use at 5–10% concentration. Injectable research use is uncommon.
