TB-500

HealingSingle
Also known as: Thymosin Beta-4 fragment

A synthetic version of thymosin beta-4 studied in injury and recovery research.

Half-life
72 h
Common dose
175 – 490 mg
Dosing frequency
Daily
Administration
Subcutaneous

How it works

TB-500 binds actin and promotes cell migration, vascular development, and stem-cell recruitment to injured tissues. It upregulates VEGF expression, supports formation of new blood vessels, and has shown anti-inflammatory effects in animal models of musculoskeletal injury.

Protocol notes

Loading-phase protocols commonly dose 2–5 mg twice weekly for 4–6 weeks, then taper to a maintenance dose of 2–2.5 mg weekly. Frequently stacked with BPC-157 for tendon and ligament protocols. Cycles of 8–12 weeks are typical.

Reported side effects

Mild lethargy or "flu-like" symptoms during loading phase, injection-site reactions, and occasional headache have been reported.

Additional research notes

Used for injury recovery. Often protocol-dosed rather than weight-based.
