How it works
Tesamorelin binds the pituitary GHRH receptor, triggering endogenous GH release. The molecular modification protects it from rapid breakdown, extending bioactivity vs. native GHRH.
Protocol notes
Clinical dosing is 1–2 mg subcutaneously once daily, typically before bed. Cycles of 12–26 weeks are common. May be stacked with Ipamorelin to increase GH pulse amplitude.
Reported side effects
Joint pain, peripheral edema, injection-site reactions, mild glucose intolerance, and rare hypersensitivity.
