How it works

Tirzepatide activates both GIP and GLP-1 receptors, producing complementary effects on insulin secretion, glucagon suppression, gastric emptying, and satiety. Clinical trials show 15–22% body-weight loss.

Protocol notes

Standard titration: 2.5 mg weekly for 4 weeks, increasing by 2.5 mg every 4 weeks up to 15 mg weekly. Slower titration improves GI tolerance.
